VILLAGE OF GENESEO

The Village of Geneseo continuously accepts letters of interest from residents of the Village seeking a position on the Planning Board,
Zoning Board of Appeals or any ad hoc committee.

Planning Board and Zoning Board members are appointed by the Village Board of Trustees.

They must comply with all requirements for public officers, including being legal residents of the Village of Geneseo and completing 4 hours of training each year.

The Planning Board considers applications for site plans, subdivision plats, special permits and other development issues. It meets monthly on the fourth Thursday at 4:30pm.

The Zoning Board of Appeals considers applications for variances and interpretations. It meets as needed, on the first Wednesday at 4:30pm.

Persons interested are invited to submit a letter of interest, including relevant educational background and professional experience, to the Village Clerk, 119 Main Street, Geneseo, NY 14454.
